Our Interventions

Girls Education and Empowerment

Under this programme the Trust provides academic and resource support to adolescent girls and young women from socio- economically marginalised communities to ensure that they successfully complete their secondary schooling, higher and professional studies . In order to break the societal stereotypes, gender gap and give these girls skills and confidence to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) there are special interventions for girls who want to study English, Maths and Science at secondary and higher level. The programme envisions to provide courses on digitial literacy and orientation on usage of Artificial Intelligence to these girls and young women. Objectives of these interventions are to enhance achievement levels of girls and to develop their personal cognitive/non-cognitive abilities and skills, as these would also provide them with better employability options and life opportunities through higher education.

Feminist Leadership Development

The objective of this program is to develop and promote transformational leadership amongst women from the most vulnerable communities in Patha region to ensure they build  empowered lives for themselves where they are able to claim and enjoy their rights and entitlements.  Village level women collectives are the pivot of this intervention as these collectives are agents of change at grassroot levels working towards a better, safer, greener and sustainable environment.

Green and Sustainable Environment

Patha region, similar to the rest of the Globe, is facing significant climate related environmental and ecological changes. Through this initiative, Patha Trust aims to promote local responses that are climate-resilient and environmentally sustainable to ensure balance and harmony between human activities and environment.  This  includes bringing changes at local governance level through capacity building, outreach programmes and collaboration with local bodies, educational institutions, NGOs, CSOs and community groups.
