Mission

Development premised on human rights, gender equality and social justice that promotes transforming lives of socio-economically marginalised communities through advancement of rights of girls and women who will have and exercise their full agency in deciding about their life, on the basis of all their freedoms and human rights.

Key Objectives

  • To work towards advancement of the rights of adolescent girls and young women, particularly from the socio-economically marginalised sections of the society, with a focus on their right to quality and meaningful education and skills development.
  • To ensure improvement in the environment and overall life situations of communities especially women and girls from socio-economically marginalised communities.
  • Establish partnerships, harness newer opportunities and promote sustainable solutions for better environmental conditions and live situations of local communities.
  • Support, promote and undertake capacity building initiatives, surveys, research, knowledge management, educational activities and outreach programmes to implement and realise vision of the Trust.
  • To work with grassroots actors and communities to advance mutual vision and commitments to human rights, gender equality, environmental and social justice.
